VOLT Energy Wear Co., Ltd. (“VOLT”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website voltbkk.com (the “Website”) and sells sportswear and related products to customers in Thailand and internationally. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and what rights you have under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (“PDPA”) and, where applicable, other data protection laws.

  • Account data — for as long as your account remains active, plus a reasonable period after closure.
  • Payment slip images — until the related payment is verified and reconciled, plus the accounting retention period above.
  • Marketing consent data — until you withdraw consent, after which we retain a minimal record of the withdrawal itself.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Payment processors — Stripe, to process card payments securely.
  • Shipping and logistics providers (e.g. Kerry Express, Thailand Post/EMS, and international couriers).
  • IT service providers — our website hosting and technical service providers, under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal and regulatory authorities — where required by law or court order.
  • Professional advisors — such as accountants or lawyers, where necessary.

8. Cross-Border Data Transfer / การส่งหรือโอนข้อมูลไปต่างประเทศ

Some service providers, including Stripe, may process or store personal data on servers outside Thailand. Where we transfer personal data outside Thailand, we take steps required under the PDPA to ensure an adequate standard of protection, or rely on another legal mechanism permitted under the PDPA (such as your explicit consent, or contractual necessity to fulfil your order).

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for core website and checkout functionality; cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics cookies — used only once properly configured with your consent where required.
  • Marketing/advertising cookies — used only with your consent where required by law.

Current status: the Website does not yet have a cookie consent banner as required by the PDPA for non-essential cookies. Implementing one is a priority action alongside publishing this Policy.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including HTTPS encryption for data in transit, restricted access on a need-to-know basis, and secure processing of payment data through PCI-DSS-compliant Stripe (VOLT does not store full card numbers). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the risk.

In the event of a personal data breach likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) without undue delay, and, where required, notify you directly.

Under the PDPA, you have the following rights, subject to the exceptions and conditions in the law:

  • Right to access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure or anonymisation — in certain circumstances.
  • Right to restrict processing — in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability — where technically feasible.
  • Right to object — to direct marketing at any time, or to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Right to withdraw consent — at any time, as easily as you gave it.
  • Right to lodge a complaint — with the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 2. We will respond within 30 days, as required by the PDPA. We may need to verify your identity first.

The Website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children without appropriate parental or guardian consent. If you believe your child has provided personal data without your consent, please contact us so we can take appropriate action, which may include deleting that data.
